Life

Born in Trinidad & Tobago and raised in Miami Beach, Arvin is a formerly undocumented immigrant who has always been driven by a passion for story.

Growing up in the urban landscapes of south Florida, his journey to the Southwest was also an opportunity to find a fresh canvas to look at the country and his own origin and the shared heritage of the immigrant story.

Today, as a parent and bookstore owner, his fiction is powered by the drive to tell a better story of the West for his children and audiences everywhere.
